We have an unworthy president. He was never the president of all, but only of his own kind, those who flatter him and agree with him. Everyone else is a fascist, belongs to the far right, manipulates public opinion, is a liar, and spreads lies. From the government and from La Moncloa, he has said and done all kinds of insults, illegitimate acts, barbarities, and indecencies. He has lied to the public. He has crossed every line of institutional respect, insulting all citizens who don't think like him, abusing his political position.

I'm writing this while the news of Charlie Kirk's murder at a Utah university is still fresh. I had no idea he existed. I knew nothing about this young man until the news broke that has swept across the media. All I've seen is how many comments on social media have justified the outcome for this young man who leaves behind two young children and a very young widow. I'm not interested in what he said or what he thought; it simply doesn't matter to me. No thought can be a justification for murder. And certainly not the idea that "he brought it on himself," as some have claimed. We are in the 21st century, and thinking differently cannot be grounds for killing anyone.

I don't order food to be delivered to my house. I go out for drinks with friends or family.

The underlying problem is not new either, it lies in the fact that for some time now the "Heads" of institutions have been chosen as political commissioners and not for their "objective" and impartial professional profiles.

From the point of view of the parties, the electoral system allows for greater proportionality between votes and seats, and new parties take advantage of these elections to “play” or rehearse. This was the case of PODEMOS, Ciudadanos, and VOX, which made their debut in the European elections. Afterwards, they will try to consolidate their formations on a national stage.

The transfer of the State. The investiture agreement signed by PSOE and JUNTS represents the transformation of a constitutional system into an authoritarian model that annuls the control of the judicial power over political power.

This week the motion of censure was held in Congress. Faced with those who said that it was a joke, a pantomime, a waste of time, I think that any motion of censure (even if it does not prosper) and we have many precedents, is very useful.

It is not very democratic nor very intelligent to legislate against the majority. Only in a context of progressive dehumanization are animals protected more than people.

A constitutional and democratic model must ensure the guarantee of Fundamental Rights and if these are limited, due to collision with other fundamental rights, the restrictions must be effective and last as little time as possible. That is precisely what differentiates democratic models from authoritarian ones.
